A friend asked how did I create the banner?
It’s all done with two Photoshop tools. A Gradation tool was set to desolve purple into flame orange evenly and then horizontally applied to the canvas. Then I simply used the smudge tool to smear it into flame wisps. I believe the flames are seamless when tiled side-by-side. That’s a trade secret and another story.
In the next few days, I’m adding this Image to the Free Images page. Who doesn’t like free banners for thier wordpress blogs, right?
