Colored flutes for Cordials Assignment. Clear glass on high-key white is a nightmare even in the in the most controlled circumstances. Sometimes you just have to create difficult assignments to overcome such hard to achieve images.
I consider this image a failure. The lighting was wrong and the stems just vanished into the high key white. Instead of looking like glass stems they ghost out into the background. Yes, I could spend an hour in Photoshop but why not just reshot? I’m going to revisit this image again at another time but first I want to shoot some image tests of clear glass in high key white.
